New Business Sales Manager for UK & Nordics

Location: United Kingdom — Remote
Territory: United Kingdom and the Nordics

About Virtuozzo

Virtuozzo is a leader in infrastructure software and services for AI and the cloud. The company offers a next-generation OS, orchestration, management, automation, and protection for cloud service providers, SaaS, AI, and the enterprise. Virtuozzo provides mainframe-like efficiency, reliability, and versatility while dramatically lowering cost and complexity. We combine deep engineering expertise with a strong focus on performance, scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.

The Opportunity

Virtuozzo is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven New Business Sales Manager to grow our presence across the United Kingdom and the Nordics. This is an opportunity for a serious, high-potential sales professional who wants genuine ownership of a region—not simply a portfolio of existing accounts. If you are a net-new logo hunter this role is for you!

You will build new business through distributors, MSPs, CSPs, hosting providers and reseller partners. Although Virtuozzo operates a partner-first sales model, this is not a passive channel-management position. You will actively identify target service providers, create interest, engage directly with decision-makers and nurture opportunities until they are ready to be closed through the appropriate partner. You will be trusted to develop the territory, build market visibility and establish relationships with the founders, owners and technical leaders shaping the service-provider market.

What You Will Own

Develop the territory and win new customers

  • Build and execute a channel-led sales plan for the UK, Ireland and Nordic markets.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across the MSP, CSP, hosting and service-provider ecosystem.
  • Generate new logos and build a sustainable regional sales pipeline.
  • Manage opportunities from initial qualification through technical validation, commercial negotiation and closure.
  • Deliver against quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Build business through partners

  • Work closely with regional distributors, resellers, MSPs and technology partners.
  • Develop joint account plans and co-selling opportunities.
  • Help partners identify suitable prospects and move opportunities forward.
  • Maintain a genuinely partner-first approach while taking personal responsibility for deal momentum.
  • Ensure prospects receive a smooth handover and consistent experience throughout the partner sales process.

Create market visibility

  • Find practical and creative ways to strengthen Virtuozzo’s presence in the region.
  • Develop joint campaigns and events with distributors and partners.
  • Represent Virtuozzo at local industry events, partner meetings and regional roundtables.
  • Work with marketing to create channel-focused activities that generate measurable pipeline.

Engage service-provider leaders

  • Build trusted relationships with MSP and CSP founders, owners, CEOs and CTOs.
  • Understand how service providers make money, operate infrastructure and evaluate new platforms.
  • Discuss both the commercial and technical value of the Virtuozzo portfolio.
  • Explain how virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure and cloud-management technologies can support better margins, scalability and total cost of ownership.
  • Coordinate technical specialists and partners during evaluations and solution discussions.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least five years of relevant B2B technology, infrastructure, cloud or software sales experience.
  • Experience generating new business rather than only managing established accounts.
  • Evidence of working with distributors, resellers, MSPs, CSPs, hosting providers or other channel partners.
  • Understanding of the UK service-provider and technology-partner market.
  • Confidence initiating conversations and building relationships with founders and senior decision-makers.
  • The ability to understand technical infrastructure concepts and translate them into clear commercial value.
  • Strong pipeline management, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A proactive, organised and independent working style suitable for a remote international organisation.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, partner activities and regional events.

What We Offer

  • A role at the forefront of cloud technology with real impact and growth opportunities
  • A collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and shipped
  • Other perks and engagement opportunities
  • Share options
  • Referral bonuses
  • Rewards and incentives
  • Compensation split: 70/30

What Success Looks Like

You will create a visible and credible presence for Virtuozzo in the territory, build productive relationships across the channel and develop a consistent pipeline of qualified service-provider opportunities. Success will come from being curious, commercially persistent and personally involved. You will know which companies should be using Virtuozzo, who makes the decisions inside them and what needs to happen to turn their interest into revenue.
