Money stress is the biggest productivity killer in the workplace - My Money Matters exists to change that. We're building an app that improves employees' finances automatically every pay day - giving them financial tools that directly improve their financial health with less effort.

Every pay day is an opportunity to build better money habits. We make it easy. Employees can accelerate retirement savings with tax-efficient pension top-ups, build a safety net effortlessly with auto savings, or access their already-earned salary ahead of pay day for emergencies.

For employers, fewer employees with money worries means more focus on work. We're trusted by major organisations including the NHS, and we're growing fast.

We're looking for New Business Account Executives to join our growing commercial team, focusing on acquiring new customers across the public sector. You'll be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing net-new business opportunities for the My Money Matters financial wellbeing platform, working with organisations across Local Government, the NHS and Education. From prospecting and outreach through to pitching, negotiating and closing, you'll own the entire sales cycle.

We're open to recruiting multiple Account Executives across a range of experience levels, so whether you're an experienced new business salesperson or looking to take the next step in your sales career, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from self-generating pipeline through to negotiating and closing new business opportunities.

  • Achieve or exceed individual targets and KPIs.

  • Proactively prospect potential employers, ensuring you understand their workforce, financial wellbeing challenges and existing benefits to shape tailored commercial conversations.

  • Deliver product demos and pitches positioning the value of our full financial wellbeing offering across a variety of public sector organisations.

  • Own commercial negotiations through to a signed contract, including contract terms and procurement requirements, with internal support.

  • Navigate public sector procurement frameworks and processes, managing multiple stakeholders through the full sales cycle.

  • Partner internally with Marketing and Product ensuring alignment to our value proposition, and providing a real-time constant feedback loop so we build features and propositions in line with demand.

  • Manage and forecast your pipeline accurately in HubSpot, ensuring that there is reliable visibility on your pipeline at all times, enabling effective customer management and reporting.

  • Ensure a smooth handover to Onboarding and Customer Success, capturing all relevant information to support a successful implementation and account growth plan.

  • Represent My Money Matters at conferences, employer forums and promotional events to build pipelines and brand awareness.

Skills & Experience

  • You've closed full-cycle new business deals and can point to specific wins, not just a general track record.

  • You've self-sourced your own pipeline and don't wait for leads to land in your inbox.

  • Experience in lead nurturing and generation, with the ability to identify and tailor your approach depending on customer needs and challenges.

  • The ability to run sales cycles of different lengths, staying sharp without losing momentum.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate across different seniority levels and stakeholder groups.

  • You can build relationships with multiple stakeholders, understanding different priorities and adapting your approach to move opportunities forward.

  • You treat CRM updates and pipeline hygiene as part of winning, not just an admin task.

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Experience selling within the public sector to local government, NHS or education

  • Experience using HubSpot

  • Experience selling financial wellbeing, employee benefits, or payroll products
