Job Description


  • Be the European Product regional lead for specific VisaNet Authorization and Clearing services & processing initiatives, demonstrating good knowledge of Network Processing products, and their associated value proposition by leading client discussions on the technical configuration of the solutions.
  • Support the definition of regional processing requirements that require development in VisaNet. Work closely with global product and cluster teams to develop internal and external business cases for system enhancements. Support requirements for new product and system enhancement, and the the socialisation and implementation of the new developments with both CS and clients, including support of the Business Enhancement Releases (BER) and the issuing of Visa Business News (VBN) Bulletins
  • Partner with the Core Application Go-to-market (GTM) function to support and drive the seamless implementation and onboarding of Visa Networking Processing products.
  • Collaborate across EU Product to define and identify new product opportunities and close market gaps, provide analysis of competing solution, and understand impact of regulatory change on Visa’s European Business.
  • Where appropriate will support the Acquirer and Issuer VAS function to drive adoption of products and services, providing support to clients where greater understanding is required.
  • Assist the development of new commercial propositions alongside the GTM and Pricing teams and be accountable for the achievement specific network product revenue targets and supporting the overall EU product revenues.
  • Provide support to cross divisional initiatives within regional product and across the Visa organization.
  • Support client billing queries on specific products and services
  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior Product leaders on key project and revenue metrics and adapt overall approach to address challenges/issues/opportunities.
  • As requirements of this role evolve, adapt to growing needs of the team and broader products organization, actively lead ad-hoc projects as assigned.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Operational and/or IT payment environments, with a good knowledge of Visa core business.
• A good understanding of VisaNet products or interbank payment processing infrastructure environments would be preferred
• A willingness to learn and develop technical skills across a wide range of products and services
• The ability to interpret and define regional business requirements for technical changes to VisaNet.
• Rigorous thinker, ability to transpose business, and technical understanding to relevant market inputs with account teams and product teams as well as with external client discussions
• Ownership and driving impact are important aspects to the role, must have the mindset to fully understand and quickly overcome technical, industry and internal challenges to succeed.
• Comfortable in presenting to clients across the region and managing initiatives independently.
• Ability to progress solutions and enhancements with urgency and prioritized focus for commercial and strategic benefits for our customers and Visa
