Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and high-energy Network Pre-Sales Systems Engineer ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in enterprise networking, a flair for data centre or optical technologies, and a strong understanding of AI infrastructure. You will play a key role in building customer relationships and driving strategic deals across global accounts.
What You’ll Do- Engage with global customers to deliver technical solutions and presentations.
- Participate in customer meetings, whiteboarding sessions, and custom technical design.
- Scope services-related work and collaborate with sales counterparts.
- Partner with multiple OEMs to identify and deliver customer value.
- Continuously expand technical expertise and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies.
- Travel expected: 25–30%.
- Strong understanding of technologies such as:
- Software-defined architecture (SD-WAN, SD-LAN)
- Data centre technologies (ACI, VMware, VDI)
- Security solutions (NGFW, ZTN, SASE)
- AI infrastructure (Nvidia, low latency network architecture)
- Familiarity with major networking vendors: Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nvidia, HPE-Aruba, Palo Alto Networks.
- Ability to apply technical solutions to complex sales opportunities.
- Experience translating design requirements into BOMs and working with procurement teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Relationship-building skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Understanding of the market space and sales cycle.
- Previous experience with a value-added reseller (VAR) is preferred.
- 5+ years in pre-sales engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, or Arista L5.
- Solid knowledge of campus networking (L2/L3), SDx & programmability, data centre & cloud, AI infrastructure, and security.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
