As a member of the IT Network Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of global enterprise network infrastructure to ensure a consistent and high-quality network experience for PlayStation employees worldwide. This role involves working closely with senior network engineers to execute designs, perform hands-on deployments, and support ongoing operations. 

Core Responsibilities 

  • Support and implement enterprise network solutions as defined by senior engineers and architects. 
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network appliances at PlayStation offices and data centers. 
  • Assist with the execution of network changes, upgrades, and incident response activities. 
  • Contribute to the maintenance of network documentation and standards. 
  • Collaborate with IT project teams to ensure successful network integration for infrastructure initiatives. 
  • Provide input on design reviews and network-related planning discussions. 
  • Engage in hands-on work related to rack mounting, cabling, and configuring physical network devices. 
  • Ensure alignment with PlayStation’s established network security policies and standards. 
  • Collaborate with global teams on deployments and support activities. 

Required Experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments. 
  • Experience implementing configurations across routers, switches, and firewalls. 
  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addressing/Subnetting, VLANs. 
  • Working knowledge of common routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF. 
  • Familiarity with firewall configuration and security policies. 
  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts and exposure to AWS or Azure environments 

Desirable Experience 

  • Hands-on experience with Juniper QFX and EX series platforms. 
  • Experience supporting or configuring remote access VPN solutions (e.g. Palo Alto GlobalProtect). 
  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama management. 
  • Exposure to Network Access Control (NAC) solutions. 
  • Familiarity with network automation and source control tools. 
  • Experience working with international or cross-functional teams.
