Job Description

Business Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for Payment Networks, maintaining best practices.
  • Analyse partner specifications and data mapping across various wallet partners, contributing to API service design and assessing their impact on business processes.
  • Conduct business analysis for robust data models downstream of backend services, supporting partner onboarding and other use cases.
  • Identify and document key requirements for new partner integration to ensure effective operations and seamless client experience, and present complex network feature demos during sprint demos to relevant Visa Direct stakeholders.
  • Engage in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, while supporting product owners with backlog refinement.

Processes and Standardisation:

  • Develop solution scope documentation based on partner workshops during the build phase to facilitate post-launch business operations.
  • Support the product team in the development and implementation of processes and governance to deliver strategic initiatives for Visa Direct Networks.
  • Gather and refine requirements for partner integrations, working with the product team to leverage templates to standardize the Network Platform based on client or partner needs.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, fintech, or payment solutions industries
  • You have demonstrable experience across multiple systems and project types within the financial services and payments industry, ideally in cross border payments, with a good understanding of payment message standards and rules, payment schemes incl. mobile wallets, payment processing technologies and regulations
  • Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs (Swagger, XML, JSON schemas)
  • Keen eye for UI UX and a strong attention to detail, design skills are a bonus
  • Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean / Kanban) and ideally scaled agile methodology
  • Great intellectual agility and attention to detail
  • Experience with Jira Confluence tool
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related issues and optimize data processes.
