Purpose of the Role

The National Sales Manager is a field-based commercial role responsible for building and leading a team of key account managers.  The team will be accountable for creating the demand for the Cell Therapy service, driving referrals from inside the treating centers and from other NHS Haematology referral Centers.   

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Own national sales targets and ensure delivery of revenue and market share objectives.
  • Drive Sales Force Effectiveness - Improve productivity and consistency across the team by implementing best practices and optimizing execution.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Marketing, Medical and Market Access to ensure aligned execution.
  • Leverage Data and Analytics - Use data, insights, and digital tools to improve targeting, performance, and decision-making.
  • Deliver Launch Excellence and Market Growth - Lead successful product launches and drive sustained market growth and patient access.
Role Requirements
 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in pharmaceutical sales or commercial roles, ideally within Haematology
  • Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to communicate complex data clearly and credibly.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business planning and execution capability.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • High levels of accountability, ownership and learning agility.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and cross-functional environment.
  • ABPI qualification preferred.
