We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our team and lead strategic partnerships within the pharmacy wholesale market. If you thrive on building relationships, negotiating smart deals, and delivering results, this could be your next big move.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and develop business through multiple and regional accounts, ensuring strategies align with company objectives.
  • Create and deliver account plans that maximise brand share and category growth.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain up-to-date trading policies and reports.
  • Negotiate the most favourable terms on price, service and profitability.
  • Drive promotional activity and new product listings to unlock potential across all accounts.
  • Control promotional budgets and identify opportunities for improvement while keeping overheads in check.
  • Monitor account performance, competitor activity and market trends, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales planning, finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and stock availability.
  • Attend client review meetings and work flexibly when required to meet business needs.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in account management within pharmacy wholesale (e.g., AHA, Phoenix, Alliance).
  • Knowledge: Background in trading medicines (P & POM).
  • Qualification: A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commercial acumen with P&L understanding.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and data analysis capability.
  • Accurate forecasting and analytical thinking.
  • Confident presentation skills using PowerPoint.
  • Financial insight into ROI, promotional evaluation and sales modelling.
