🏛️ Department and Role Description

The Public Safety & Justice (PS&J) team is looking for a senior, strategic, and mission-driven individual to drive the future direction and growth of our business across the UK Public Safety and Justice market.

This role calls for a strong, proactive leader capable of aligning the world-leading Salesforce platform to the complex challenges and generational reform initiatives within this market. The successful candidate will be the recognized expert and executive advisor, translating critical mandates like Police Reform, the anticipated National Policing Operating Model (NCOP), and the vision for Joined-Up Justice into tangible customer value.

We must support those who deliver this mission—from frontline police officers to court clerks—by delivering new ways of working and modernization. If you are willing to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and have an interest in working with the best technology team in the world, you are strongly encouraged to apply.

✅ Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute the Salesforce PS&J market strategy aligned to key national priorities, including Police Reform and Ministry of Justice (MoJ) digital transformation goals.

  • Executive Relationships: Build and maintain deep, trusted executive-level relationships within critical governmental bodies, including the Home Office, Ministry of Justice (MoJ), National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC), and Police & Crime Commissioners (PCCs).

  • Business Development Leadership: Act as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) on strategic deals, articulating compelling, visionary value propositions that demonstrate how Salesforce drives efficiency and modernization across the justice ecosystem.

  • Industry Innovation: Champion the vision for Joined-Up Justice, developing innovative solutions and blueprints that enhance cross-agency collaboration and support the well-being and productivity of frontline staff.

  • Partnership Building: Build strategic partnerships with key System Integrators (SIs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), and industry bodies to create comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for the sector.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent Salesforce as a premier thought leader at industry events, executive briefings, and through published insights and white papers.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Demonstrable track record of success in strategic roles within the public sector or enterprise technology focused on government.

  • Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to travel across the UK as required to meet with executive stakeholders.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of deep industry knowledge and leadership in the UK Public Safety & Justice sector (Policing, Courts, Probation, or related central government agencies).

  • First-hand working knowledge of UK Policing structures, policy challenges, and the implications of the anticipated National Policing Operating Model (NCOP).

  • Experience in a major consulting firm, systems integrator, or strategic planning function focused on public sector digital transformation.

  • A postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA or relevant Master's) is a plus.
