The Role:

  • Myo is a portfolio of flexible office space which includes a portfolio of boutique event spaces, all in Central London,
  • We offer a curated collection of spaces for all types of corporate events – from events for up to 150 guests to small meetings. Equipped with world-class AV and conferencing technology and bespoke catering options, we deliver seamless events for corporate clients.
  • We have a portfolio of 6 sites and are expanding.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales and marketing strategy for the events and meeting rooms across the Myo Portfolio.
  • The Events Sales Manager will dictate revenue targets to be met by each site and the portfolio as a whole and   
  • They will be heavily involved in launching the Stables, a 13,000 sq ft events venue as part of the new Myo Kings Cross workspace, opening summer 2025.
  • Salary from £40,000 + bonuses depending on experience

The Team:

  • Myo is part of the Workspace division within Landsec, which includes traditional offices spaces, flexible offices spaces, retail and commercial ventures such as Piccadilly lights. In addition to the site teams delivering services to the customers in the Myo workspaces, the Myo team includes leasing, development, projects, marketing, finance and customer insight. Being part of Myo is to also be part of this larger organisation.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Set and deliver proactive sales strategies, utilising the existing customer base of Myo members, Landsec Customers, agencies and third party customer list, as well as generating new opportunities, both through Landsec and the wider market place
  • Manage the reactive sales process, responding to enquiries and actively and effectively engaging with agencies and customers to convert leads, as per the agreed KPIs
  • Build customer and agency relationships to create repeat-customers, managing those accounts and generating future events through proactive communication.
  • Stay updated with the wider market, undertaking regular competitor analysis and ensure the Myo events portfolio is priced accurately and with a view to the competition
  • Create and rolls out new commercial opportunities to improve revenue and sales conversion
  • Accurate and timely issue of contracts
  • Work with Director of Data and Insight to produce a monthly event sales report and reporting monthly to the Myo P&L panel

Your skills, experience and qualifications:

Essential criteria

  • Proven track record in sales conversion, meeting targets and wider KPIs
  • Experience in a sales role at a London based events venue, luxury hotel or flexible workspace with experience of working with corporate clients
  • Proven experience of setting a marketing strategy (delivered by marketing team)
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Adept at forming relationships
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic person, committed to delivering on the business' goals
  • Financially astute
