Description

At MPG, we specialise in creating the highest standard of mind-blowing video game experiences for our partners, across Co-Dev, Full-Dev and Analytics projects. In 2023, we joined the Keywords Studios Group. We levelled up and found a new home working with some awesome people across Keywords’ many studios.

Your mission:

We are looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join our Data Science and Analytics team here at The Multiplayer Group (MPG). Your primary responsibilities will be the gathering, transforming and presenting data on a wide array of Game Industry related projects.

This is an entry level position, so experience is not required as training will be provided on the job. However, a graduate degree from a STEM course is essential. Familiarity with data science tools is advantageous (such as but not limited to: Python, Jupyter Notebook, Tableau, SQL and Linux).

We need someone who can think their way around problems rather than through them, has an aptitude for creative problem solving and is naturally curious. You should also be capable of constructing a narrative that speaks for the data and isn’t dogmatically tied to your own preconceived beliefs.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining data platforms leveraging APIs, SQL, NoSQL etc.
  • Design analytics dashboards using tools like Tableau
  • Modelling and forecasting
  • Conducting Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
  • Organising tasks and projects
  • Communicating key insights in an intuitive way
  • Reading research papers to understand business questions
Requirements

  • Graduate degree from a STEM course (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data science tools is advantageous
  • An interest in the gaming industry
  • You're naturally curious and have an aptitude of creatively solving problems
