LastPass is looking for a Business Development Representative, MSP

LastPass is seeking a Business Development Representative for Managed Service Providers (MSP) to enhance and expand our MSP partner network. In this role, you will be pivotal in recruiting MSP partners to drive market adoption and foster growth. Responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new MSP partners to accelerate our business expansion. You will work closely with the MSP Manager and our technical teams to effectively communicate our value proposition throughout the recruitment process. We are looking for a highly motivated and quick-learning individual eager to advance their career in software security sales within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Ability to differentiate the value of LastPass' password management software (including passwordless features) in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to explain the product’s value proposition and confidently discuss its technical attributes.
  • Prospecting development, including the ability to target, call, and engage with potential MSP partners.
  • High energy and a positive attitude during phone and email outreach.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date pipeline of relevant prospective opportunities.
  • Participating in the development of joint marketing programs that define roles, maximize support, and increase market awareness.
  • Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts.
  • Fuel the sales engine: Book 20+ meetings per month with qualified leads in the IT services industry.
  • Become a master prospector: Leverage research skills to identify ideal clients and craft compelling value propositions.
  • Close the deal: Deliver impactful presentations, negotiate confidently, and secure new partnerships, consistently exceeding sales targets.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.
  • Strong personal drive to meet and exceed targets and goals.
  • Experience with cold calling.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Must be coachable and outgoing.

It's great, but not required:

  • Knowledge of the cyber security landscape.
  • Experience with MSPs or MSSPs.
  • Fluency in German.
