Conduct a six-week discovery and assessment of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement across German and US regions. Lead business workshops, document current processes, identify regional fit gaps, define a unified target process and solution design, distinguish configuration from customization, and provide risks, options, recommendations, and estimated sizing. The role requires prior multi-country CRM or global-template experience, a written discovery deliverable, a British passport, and short-notice international travel availability.

MS Dynamics Functional Consultant

Client Discovery exercise(6 weeks), possible extension. UK based. Travel to Germany and the United States.

A Dynamics 365 customer engagement estate runs across a German operating region and a US one. We need a functional consultant to work out what it does today, where the two regions diverge, and what a single target design has to look like. Assessment and design, not build.

The work

Run requirement and process workshops with the business in Germany and the US, without a delivery manager in the room. Produce the fit gap: what configures, what customises, and what the business changes instead. Write the target process and solution design at a level a delivery team can pick up, and defend it when the two regions disagree with each other. Deliver findings, risks, options and a recommendation with a size against it.

Requirements

Required

  • Delivered D365 Customer Engagement as a functional consultant, Sales or Customer Service or both. Not a developer, not a technical architect.
  • Run a multi country CRM programme or a global template where two regions had to be reconciled into one design. This is the discriminator.
  • Discovery and fit gap as a named deliverable, with the written work to show for it.
  • British passport. Client requirement, non negotiable.
  • Available inside two weeks and able to travel at short notice.

Not this role

·       * Finance and Operations or Business Central. The market conflates them with Customer Engagement and they do not transfer.

·       Travel expenses to be confirmed before the rate is agreed.
