We do this through helping customers understand their mortgage options on their favourite comparison sites. As a result of increasing costs and complexities in the mortgage process, we have seen an increase in demand for , we are now using Koodoo’s platform and partnerships to launch our first charge mortgage advice service, enabling customers to search products and receive advice simultaneously.

👔 The role

We are seeking a Mortgage Advisor with a minimum of 2-3 years experience (Ideally a whole-of-market broker or multiple lender experience) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to clients on a range of mortgage products, ensuring they receive the best possible service and experience. 

This role will also involve an element of process development and testing, working alongside the rest of our Mortgage Operations team to build an efficient, friendly process that delights customers and makes getting a mortgage as seamless as possible. 

🎯 Key responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional service and conducting initial assessments of client's financial circumstances to determine their eligibility for a mortgage product
  • Preparing and submitting mortgage applications on behalf of clients
  • Impressing our customers throughout the process to ensure they come back for a remortgage and recommend Koodoo to all their family and friends
  • Responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, estate agents and other stakeholders
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest mortgage products and market trends
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met
  • Delivering a high-quality level of communication via phone, email & online live chat (to be added soon)
  • Constantly looking to improve processes, customer experiences & product offerings by providing honest & valuable feedback to our Operations and Development teams as we continuously enhance our platform, customer journey and service model
😎 About you
  • Fully CeMAP qualified with 2-3 years of experience in giving advice in the UK mortgage industry, preferably with experience in advising on protection products
  • Knowledge of mortgage products and lending criteria
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to adapt to innovative tools and processes designed to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
