We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with strong experience in React Native and Expo, capable of end-to-end mobile development. You’ll help define the technical direction, establish internal capability, and deliver a secure, production-ready mobile banking app across iOS and Android. Prior success publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store is essential. 

Key Responsibilities 

Delivery & Collaboration 

• Work with the Tech Lead to shape and deliver the mobile MVP 

• Partner with product, design, and technology leadership to define and deliver core customer journeys. 

• Provide guidance on mobile development standards, tooling, and patterns. 

• Work in cross-functional squads to plan, refine, and deliver product features. 

• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and capability-building within the team. 

• Support release processes, app store submissions, and environment readiness. 

Mobile Application Development 

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile experiences using React Native and Expo. 

• Implement secure and reliable user flows, ensuring compliance with platform and regulatory expectations. 

• Integrate with backend services and external partners where required. 

Quality, Testing & Performance 

• Ensure robust testing practices and high levels of reliability across supported devices. 

• Monitor and improve app performance, stability, and overall user experience. 

• Support troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

Security & Operational Readiness 

• Apply modern mobile security practices and ensure the app meets security, compliance, and privacy requirements. 

• Support operational readiness of the app through monitoring, observability, and release management. 

• Experience with React Native and Expo. 

• Proven track record of publishing apps to both Apple and Google app stores. 

• Deep understanding of secure mobile authentication (OAuth2/OIDC PKCE, biometrics, SCA). 

• Hands-on experience with mobile security best practices and secure storage. 

• Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and mobile observability. 

• Excellent communication skills and capability in cross-functional teams.
