We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mid-Level Unity Game Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing engaging and immersive games, contributing across all stages of the game development lifecycle – from initial concept to release and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the entire game development lifecycle: conceptualization, prototyping, production, testing, and live game support (including LiveOps and ongoing updates).
  • Implement and optimize game mechanics, systems, and features using the Unity engine.
  • Maintain high-quality code through best practices, including code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to translate ideas into functional gameplay.
  • Provide technical input during design reviews and feature planning while conducting code reviews to enhance performance.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges such as performance bottlenecks and bugs across platforms (PC and mobile).
  • Optimize assets and code for multi-platform performance.
  • Develop and maintain tools to enhance team workflow and productivity.

Qualifications:

  •  3+ years of professional experience in Unity game development.
  • Demonstrated experience working on at least one complete game development lifecycle, from concept to release.
  • Proficient in Unity and C# programming, areas including (but not limited):
    o Networking concepts, multiplayer mechanics, and real-time data synchronization.
    o Managing and optimizing game assets, such as 3D models, textures, and audio files.
    o Enhancing game performance through techniques like reducing frame
    drops, memory management, and asset optimization.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fully-remote, fast-paced, iterative and incremental development environment.
