The Mid QC Engineer is responsible for executing test cases, tracking defects, collaborating with teams, and maintaining test documentation to ensure software quality standards.

Objectives of this Role
The QC Mid will be responsible for conducting quality control activities within the software development team, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. This position is typically offered full-time and reports to QC Lead. Those well-suited to this career enjoy problem-solving and working collaboratively with others.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Test Execution: Execute test cases and scripts, identifying and documenting defects.
- Test Planning: Assist in the creation of test plans and test strategies based on project requirements.
- Defect Tracking: Track and report on the status of defects using the designated defect tracking tools.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or information technology, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Professional certification, such as ISTQB-CTFL ISTQB-CTAL
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and processes.
- Experience in executing test cases and documenting defects.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Experience with defect tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
