About the Role

As an Account Manager at AMCS, you will be responsible for driving business growth at our installed base by helping our customers solve complex operational and sustainability challenges through our SaaS solutions. You will own the full sales cycle in conversions, cross and upsell —from discovery and qualification through to close—while building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

This role requires a consultative seller who can uncover customer needs, align solutions to business outcomes, and confidently navigate both virtual and in-person engagements with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Business Growth: Own your customers and expand through conversions, cross and upsell within your assigned territory

  • Territory & Pipeline Management: Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to build and maintain a high-quality pipeline that meets and exceeds quota

  • Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Lead opportunities from pipeline building through close, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal execution

  • Customer Engagement: Conduct consultative engagements via phone, video, and in-person meetings to understand customer goals and challenges

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Business Development, and Sales Engineering to drive demand, deliver impactful demos, and align solutions to customer needs

  • Solution Alignment: Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for a range of stakeholders

  • Sales Operations & Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking within Salesforce

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to team best practices and support broader sales initiatives as needed

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of quota-carrying experience selling complex, mid-market SaaS solutions (e.g., ERP or platform-based systems) with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets

  • Proven success managing full sales cycles and closing deals in both virtual and in-person environments

  • Strong prospecting skills, including cold outreach across multiple channels

  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way to diverse audiences

  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
