The Mid Business Analyst translates business operations into technical specifications, creates data diagrams, and engages with senior stakeholders in financial services.

We want the candidate to have recent hands on experience:
- Mapping complex business processes across multiple stakeholders and systems in financial services
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications for engineering teams
- Creating data flow diagrams and process documentation using diagramming tools
- Engaging directly with senior stakeholders (C-suite, Operations, Finance)
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst in financial services (reinsurance, insurance, or asset management preferred)
- Strong proficiency with Excel including data manipulation, pivot tables, and lookup functions
- Experience creating process maps and data flow diagrams using diagramming tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or draw.io
- Proven ability to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple organisations
- Experience working in agile delivery teams using tools like Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of data workflows including reconciliation processes, data quality checks, and system integrations
Bonus (the nice to haves):
- SQL proficiency for querying databases and validating data
