About the role:

As the Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Specialist, you will play a key hands-on role in shaping how digital information is structured, governed and maintained across modern Microsoft 365 environments.

  • Plan and deliver data migrations into Microsoft 365 using industry-standard tooling such as ShareGate.
  • Develop PowerShell automation to streamline administration and improve performance.
  • Design and implement metadata models, taxonomies and content types to improve classification and searchability.

  • Support data integrity, security and accessibility across structured and unstructured information repositories.
  • Carry out audits, monitoring and routine checks to ensure ongoing compliance and system reliability.
  • Enhance enterprise search through effective tagging and content indexing.
  • Work closely with business teams to deliver practical SharePoint solutions that support collaboration and document control.
  • Provide user guidance, training and support on SharePoint features and information management best practice.
  • Support integrations between SharePoint, Microsoft 365 services and reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Contribute to digital transformation and automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

This is a delivery-focused role, suited to someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, information and people — and who takes pride in creating well-governed, usable digital environment
