We are currently recruiting a Merchandising Admin Assistant to sit within the EU Merchandising Planning department on our menswear team, based in our London office. You will be reporting into the Merchandising Planner, working closely with merchandising and allocation teams to develop a full understanding of the UNIQLO range across the EU.  

 

This represents a unique opportunity for someone who is interested in growing their career within fashion Merchandising, with experience in merchandising function.   

 

What you will be responsible for 

  • Supporting the Merchandisers with collecting key merchandising information, data entry, reports preparation and analysis 

  • Updating reports on a weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis 

  • Analysing day-to-day sales and stock levels. Liaise with the inventory control team with regards to stock queries and necessary adjustments 

  • Highlight risks and opportunities 

  • Actioning re-pricing and markdown changes 

  • Assisting with sizing and colour confirmations 

  • Liaising with stores and head office in Tokyo 

  • Carrying out competitors’ analysis continuously 

  • Proposing improvements of stock levels based on sales & stock reporting 

  • Supporting with any other ad-hoc administration required within the merchandising function 

 

Skills, Experience and Attributes: 

  • 1-2 years of merchandising experience 

  • Educated to degree level - within merchandising or an analytical subject 

  • Experience within an administrative role 

  • Retail or fashion experience is preferred 

  • Advanced skills in Excel is a must 

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills 

  • IT proficient 

  • Acute attention to details 

  • Eager to learn and willing to take on additional responsibilities 

  • Self-driven and organised to deliver results within deadlines 

  • Use own initiative to resolve issues that may arise
