Deliver our Joint Marketing Plans with suppliers by aligning supplier brand plans into our category & our Food commercial agenda. Ensure the team plans & executes the campaigns in the best way possible to deliver the agreed JMP to drive the relevant category market share and deliver an ROI for our brands.

You will:

  • Supplier management – monthly JMPs with our key supplier partners to plan big bets and key campaigns
  • Internal P&L reporting – highlighting risks/ops to the commercial team against the agreed JMP number
  • Promo planning & events – internal planning meetings and challenging suppliers involvement in Asda’s key promos & events
  • Quarterly business reviews – ensure using previous insight/learnings on ROI for future campaigns
  • Compliance – liaising with our retail teams and our third party suppliers to ensure strong compliance on campaigns
  • Team – set direction for the team, hold team to account on critical path, bookings etc

  • Commercial knowledge required and experience in how to run a P&L preferred
  • Proactively manages own workload, being able to prioritise projects and ad-hoc requests where necessary, ensuring campaign milestones are achieved
  • Has a keen eye for detail and is a creative thinker, ensuring the highest standards are met to deliver best in class campaigns for our suppliers
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders and can easily work cross-functionally
  • Adapts well to significant change and challenges, thinks 'outside the box' to overcome barriers
  • Experience in a marketing function required as well as a background in retail
