Media Operations Director EMEA

London (Battersea) / Hybrid - Tues/Wed/Thurs from office


OVERVIEW:

The EMEA Media Operations Director  will be responsible for planning, developing and executing our media strategy and identifying the right brand partnerships for EMEA across all brand and categories.  

Responsible for overseeing the execution of media campaigns across various platforms.  

Ensure that all media operations processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with SharkNinja objectives and goals.  

Combine deep understanding of media channels, data analytics, and team management to drive operational excellence and deliver outstanding results. 


Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll do:

 

Campaign Execution & Delivery: 

 

  • End-to-end execution of media campaigns.
  • Ensuring set up of content calendars and creative delivery. 
  • Ensuring on-time delivery within budget and aligned with strategic objectives. 
  • Collaborate with Media Directors and Media Managers, to ensure seamless campaign launches. 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot campaign set up, delivery and activation across channels 


Operations Management: 


  • Develop and maintain scalable workflows and processes for campaign management and reporting. 
  • Develop policies and ensure compliance within internal teams and agency. 
  • Manage and submit POs, liaising with finance team to ensure payment is made on time. 
  • Be the go to expert on media trends and audience segmentation  
  • Utilize Sharkninja consumer insights and data analytics to refine marketing strategies and optimize media performance.
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust media strategies accordingly.
  • Track and report on the performance of media investment, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Technology & Tools Oversight: 


  • Lead the adoption of new tools and platforms to improve efficiency and campaign performance. 
  • Ensure team proficiency in ad-serving platforms, programmatic tools, and analytics dashboards. 
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Support data needs for projects such as MMM and media auditing. 
  • Leading the governance and compliance for Measurement and Performance -KPIs and ROI targets for all media activity, ensuring this communicated with impact pre, during and post campaigns.  

Some of the skills and experience you'll bring:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Media Agency background also preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a deep specialism in media operations & planning in the EMEA region.
  • Proven experience in leading successful integrated media activity across multiple channels.
  • Strong knowledge of media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, DSPs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in analytics tools  
  • Advanced understanding of ad-serving technologies and programmatic advertising.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities. 
  • Strong understanding of the diverse cultural, economic, and regulatory landscapes within EMEA.
  • Excellent operational mindset with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is a plus.
  • Preferred: Experience in relevant sectors, familiarity with emerging marketing trends and technologies, EMEA experience.
