Job Description
The UK & Ireland business is looking for a Media Manager to develop and execute media plans strategies and roadmaps to drive business growth. The role sits within the UK & Ireland Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Media Manager. You'll be working with a diverse team across the various brands and categories.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive excellence in Comms & Media strategy across UK & Ireland brands and categories; driving effectiveness and efficiency and setting a clear strategy brand plans support across the marketing teams.
What you'll do:
  • Lead how brands in the UK & Ireland business connect with consumers through different media channels from offline to online (Omnichannel Approach)
  • Bring together the total picture across brands, categories and channels, liaising with internal eCOM, Shopper & Commercial teams
  • Work closely with our agency partners, Carat, to deliver best-in-class plans, supported by strong CMM-based rationale
  • Unlock media and digital capability within the wider marketing team through developing playbooks, tools and partnerships
  • Integrate with strategic initiatives in MarTech, media and digital to fuel business growth and drive the digital transformation agenda.
  • Support Marketing Mix Modeling projects for media ROI improvements across brands.

What you will need:
  • Experience in local market, ideally in managing media strategy or comms planning (either with an agency or client-side) is required (guideline 5+ years)
  • Cross-channel experience (Digital, TV, print, OOH, radio, etc.) with strong media fundamentals but knowledge in the digital space is the most important
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills- ability to simplify and connect with people
  • Strong collaborator and influencer
  • Passionate about inspiring and driving change
  • Organized and able to handle several projects concurrently
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and applications
  • Deep knowledge of global digital platforms. Working knowledge of emerging platforms a plus
  • Business acumen: ability to operate in a wider commercial environment with stakeholders of varying levels
