Job Description

Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Kettering.

This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.

Main duties:

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
  • Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
  • Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.
  • On-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.
  • Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
  • Manage relevant external correspondence.
  • Order all day-to-day site materials.
  • Update appropriate information to progress report.
  • Maintaining K&M Document Management System.
  • Manage project-specific scheduling.
  • Communicate changes to the Project team.
  • Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification mechanical building services
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role
  • People management experience
  • Project Management experience beneficial
  • Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to do some travel if/when required
