Location: Runcorn, on-site

What You'll Do

  • Participate in problem solving with R&D teams to support, design ideas

  • Participate in developing design solutions for new projects

  • Support the proving and testing of a solution

  • Support the Generation concepts for products

  • Use Creo with Windchill (3DCAD) to create, develop, store and control designs with the R&D environment

  • Conduct design reviews to agree on and progress designs and concepts.

  • Participate in problem-solving activities

  • Plan and complete testing independently of the team when required to drive solutions forward

  • Produce test reports

  • Generate detailed documentation, specifications and design packages

  • Manage your time and the tasks' time to make sure the plan is adhered to

  • Perform engineering calculations when required

  • Manage and communicate clearly with external suppliers and internal teams

Skills You Will Need

  • Working towards or recently completed an Engineering Degree

  • Interest in R&D and product innovation

  • Understand how to prove and present solutions

  • Demonstrate design knowledge
