We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused HR Business Partner to lead and deliver the people agenda across our business. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will provide strategic and operational HR support, ensuring our people strategy aligns with business objectives and drives organisational performance. This is a broad and influential role, encompassing employee relations, organisational development, talent management, recruitment, reward, compliance and employee engagement. You will play a key role in supporting business growth, organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Whilst based in Lincolnshire, the role supports sites in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire, alongside regular collaboration with our parent company, Weybourne, in Wiltshire. Travel between sites is therefore required.


Requirements

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders and managers across the business and wider group.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR guidance.
  • Coach, support and challenge managers to effectively manage people -related matters and drive high performance.
  • Lead on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
  • Support organisational design, workforce planning and business transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the People Plan and wider business strategy.
  • Produce and analyse HR metrics and insights, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership through regular people reviews.
  • Partner with business leaders on annual workforce and labour budgeting.

Reward, Payroll & Benefits

  • Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payroll processes.
  • Manage annual salary review and bonus processes, including salary benchmarking and remuneration activities.
  • Ensure reward and benefits offerings remain competitive, cost -effective and aligned to business needs.
  • Support the preparation of remuneration -related papers and recommendations for leadership review.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development

  • Lead recruitment activity and partner with hiring managers to attract and retain high -quality talent.
  • Manage and optimise the applicant tracking system (Workable) and candidate experience.
  • Develop talent pipelines through engagement with universities, colleges, careers fairs and industry events.
  • Manage relationships with preferred recruitment partners and agencies.
  • Identify organisational capability requirements and develop appropriate learning and development solutions.
  • Lead succession planning and talent review processes, ensuring development plans are in place for key talent.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Manage relationships and service level agreements with labour providers and seasonal workforce suppliers.
  • Support ethical and customer audits, ensuring HR compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain and strengthen HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure alignment with Group policies while implementing local requirements where necessary.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including the annual engagement survey and action planning.
  • Drive a positive employee experience through effective communication and engagement activities.
  • Oversee HR communications channels, including the company intranet.
  • Manage the health surveillance programme and support wider wellbeing initiatives.
  • Champion company values and foster an inclusive, high -performing culture.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to the HR Advisor, ensuring the delivery of a high -quality HR service.
  • Set objectives, conduct regular performance reviews and support professional development.
  • Promote continuous improvement across HR processes, systems and service delivery.
  • Keep abreast of employment law developments and emerging HR trends to ensure best practice is maintained.

About You

You will be an experienced HR professional with the confidence and credibility to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You will combine strong operational HR expertise with a strategic mindset and a passion for developing people and driving business performance.

Essential

  • Significant experience in a senior HR generalist, HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Proven experience advising and influencing senior leaders and managers.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HR data and providing management information.
  • Experience leading or supporting organisational change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship -building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Desirable

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • Experience within manufacturing, agriculture, food production or a similarly operational
  • environment.
  • Experience of payroll oversight, reward management and workforce planning.
  • Experience implementing or optimising HR systems and processes.
