Turo is redefining car rental, and we're seeking a bold and entrepreneurial individual to spearhead our growth. As a Marketplace Program Manager, you will be the strategic and operational right hand to the UK Head of Business Development. You will play a critical role in shaping and executing regional strategies that drive supply quality, demand growth, and profitability. This role blends rigorous analysis, creative problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination to ensure our regional marketplace thrives.
No two days will be the same, and your responsibilities will range from using market data to identify strategic opportunities, to building and launching incentive campaigns; managing the entire end-to-end process from analysis and research to build and delivery.
Shape and execute the regional marketplace growth strategy, in partnership with the UK Head of Business Development. You will own the playbook for launching UK Markets.
Monitor marketplace health across key UK markets, tracking and analysing core metrics such as supply volume, pricing trends, fulfilment rates and profitability.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to translate data into actionable insights and track project impact.
Independently scope, launch, and scale cross-functional initiatives that drive supply quality, host engagement, and market growth. This will extend to engagement initiatives to accelerate the adoption of key policies or product features.
Serve as the UK host “voice” to surface hosting challenges and feature requests. This will include gathering host feedback via surveys - we want to ensure Turo remains competitive and valuable for our hosts.
Identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and risks, analysing factors such as competitors, regulatory shifts, and evolving consumer behaviour.
Devising tools and partnerships to help multi-car hosts grow their business.
5+ years of experience in marketplace operations, program/portfolio management, business operations, or marketing—preferably in high-growth or tech-enabled environments.
Strong analytical skills: experience with SQL, advanced spreadsheets, dashboards and BI reporting (we use Domo); able to drive insights from data and translate into action.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs and campaigns end-to-end: scoping, launching, measuring, scaling. This will also require using automation tools such as “ Zapier” or “Make” to build integrations between various platforms and data sources
Excellent communication and influencing skills: able to present to senior stakeholders, align multiple teams, and manage trade-offs.
Strategic and operational mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and able to dive deep operationally while staying aligned to the big picture.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment; you’ll have guidance when you need it, but you’re also goal-oriented and can execute independently
Marketplace business comprehension: understanding of supply/demand dynamics, pricing, profitability levers, segmentation, growth levers.
Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
Passion for building stronger communities and a more sustainable economy. You want to work at a company that will impact our society, transportation, and the environment
