Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketplace Manager to steward Vuori’s expansion across Europe by leading our Zalando Marketplace expansion strategy, operations and optimization. Europe is a critical piece of our international expansion strategy, and this role will help lead our approach within a critical channel for our strategy. This individual will be responsible for strategic and operational management of Zalando across Europe; this person owns performance end-to-end, which includes partnering on product assortment, creating market specific strategies, identifying customer trends, and performance optimization to drive growth (including new customer growth).

This role will report directly to the Europe GM, while partnering closely with HQ-based functional leaders as well as key teammates within Zalando. The ideal candidate has marketplace (specifically Zalando) experience, has the ability to be strategically focused, but operationally minded, and knows how to “roll up their sleeves and get it done”.

What you'll get to do:

  • Own and manage our Zalando marketplace operations end-to-end, ensuring optimal performance across product listings, stock availability, pricing and promotions.
  • Drive GMV, revenue, margin, and customer engagement growth
  • Monitor performance and ensure we continue to optimize Vuori’s positioning with a brand-forward POV; analyzing performance (track & analyze KPIs), providing regular sales, stock and forecasting reports to senior leadership.
  • Own and execute the marketplace growth strategy aligned with our European commercial goals
  • Define assortment, category expansion, and customer acquisition plans
  • Act as the primary internal and external point of contact for all marketplace-related activity and enquiries.
  • Manage marketplace marketing budgets, ensuring spend is optimized and delivering measurable ROI and actionable insights, while improving discoverability and conversion
  • Maintain taxonomy, categorization, and merchandising standards
  • Support the long-term development and scaling of local marketplace operations.
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities, channels, and monetization models

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or equivalent years of experience prefrferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketplace management, ecommerce, or digital platforms
  • Handson experience with Zalando
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a larger team
