About the role


We're looking for a talented and versatile Marketing Video Producer to join the Goodnotes Marketing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality video content that supports our broader marketing initiatives, from brand campaigns and product launches to customer testimonials and educational content.


You'll work closely with the Marketing team to conceptualize, produce, and deliver polished video content across various channels including our website, email campaigns, paid advertising, events, and social media. Your expertise in motion graphics and filming production will be essential in bringing our brand stories to life with visual impact.


This is the role for you, if you're excited to work on any of the things listed below:


  • Producing marketing video content including brand films, product demos, customer stories, explainer videos, and campaign assets.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop video concepts that support strategic marketing objectives and initiatives.
  • Managing end-to-end video production—from concept development and scripting to filming, motion graphics, editing, and post-production.
  • Creating compelling motion graphics, animations, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and align with brand guidelines.
  • Directing and executing professional filming productions, including lighting, camera work, and audio capture.
  • Maintaining consistency with the Goodnotes brand across all video assets while adapting creative approaches for different marketing channels and objectives.
  • Collaborating with external production vendors and partners to ensure video quality, timelines, and deliverables meet marketing standards and project requirements.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:


  • Written and spoken English proficiency is essential.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing marketing video work with emphasis on motion graphics and professional filming production.
  • Advanced proficiency in motion graphics software: Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or similar tools.
  • Expert video editing skills: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Solid understanding of filming production including camera operation, lighting techniques, sound recording, and set management.
  • Strong grasp of video production workflows, color grading, and post-production best practices.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketers, designers, product teams, and stakeholders to bring marketing visions to life.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in video production for marketing, with demonstrated expertise in motion graphics and filming.
  • Experience creating video content for product-led or tech companies—ideally in the productivity, SaaS, or education sector.
  • Experience working within marketing teams and understanding how video supports integrated marketing campaigns and brand building.
  • Experience with broadcast-quality video production and working with external production vendors.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation and design is a plus.

The interview process:

  • A role-specific call with someone from the Marketing Team to discuss your portfolio, background and skillset for this role more in detail
  • A call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as supporting you throughout your career at Goodnotes. 
  • A panel interview including behavioural interview questions based on the Goodnotes company values
  • AI Literacy Interview
