Position Summary

The European Office (EO) Marketing Team’s mission is to deliver a personalised, significant, premium experience to Samsung consumers across a multi-touchpoint ecosystem (website, e-store, social, email, device, app, chat, media) to drive balanced business growth.
You will have a chance to work with various departments such as brand/GTM, PR, CMI, retail, D2C and collaborate with Samsung’s global presence, including HQ in Korea and 16 subsidiaries in Europe, to improve your skills and capabilities.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving events from start to finish. This position will work closely with the marketing team to develop event strategies that align with company objectives while delivering an outstanding experience for attendees. The Experience Marketing Manager will successfully lead multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the entire process.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the evolution, integration and implementation of the European CEO’s vision and direction across the 16 European subsidiaries.

  • Define priorities across marketing teams and drive the project forward in collaboration with wider marketing teams – Brand, Digital, CRM, and PR, as well as relevant teams in HQ

  • Lead sophisticated, multi-disciplinary marketing projects from inception to completion, manage project schedules, identify risks and communicate goals, findings, and results to senior executives

  • Develop collaborative and credible relationships with wider European teams and the headquarters in South Korea

  • Craft and develop concise reports for senior collaborators, VP and above, actively promoting the European marketing team’s performance – via Word doc, PowerPoint slide

  • Coordinate and deliver ad-hoc business and marketing critical metric analysis reports to support business decision-makers

  • Define and manage the process, timings and outputs of the operational planning framework, ensuring that all Marketing functions deliver plans that support the delivery of strategic and commercial objectives

  • Ensure brand consistency and quality control of all collateral and communications used internally and externally across European countries

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years in marketing or product management. Passion for marketing is essential

  • GTM /or Project managing experience in a large-sized and international corporation

  • Knowledge across the full marketing mix, including ATL, Digital, and BTL

  • Contribute to delivering successful marketing campaigns and/or product launches

  • Presentation and communication skills, conveying complex concepts through visuals and words. Good reporting & presentation skills are critical for this role

  • Possess initiative & resilience

  • Curiosity and a desire to be part of a team that crafts brilliant marketing

  • Understands both multicultural working cultures, especially Korean and European cultures

  • Fluent in both English and Korean

What does success look like?

  • Full comprehension of the organisational structure of EO & HQ and protocols, hence to effectively liaise and own the key tasks

  • Successful delivery of marketing project/activities supporting the key strategy meetings among senior stakeholders

  • Consolidate the information from various groups within the Marketing team, and consolidate and produce reports for senior customers

  • Speedy & efficient actions to meet the ad-hoc needs of senior management
