As a Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager - Associate in the Chase UK Marketing team, you will support the evaluation, development, and implementation of marketing strategies and plans. Your role will involve analysing and communicating these strategies and their results across the organization. You will work closely with the Chase UK Marketing Director and other team members to ensure marketing initiatives and investments align with the bank's strategy and objectives, delivering against performance goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development and delivery of the annual marketing plans, working with teams across marketing, product, commercial, strategy, and finance.
- Provide detailed marketing reports and analysis to business stakeholders, focusing on marketing performance and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with marketing teams, data analysts, and external agencies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts and convey these insights to key stakeholders.
- Partner with strategy and research teams to deliver consumer, market, and competitor insights that enhance overall marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage with research teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of target audiences, segmentation, and identify customer needs.
- Respond to executive ad-hoc requests. This includes, presentation development, and business analysis, ensuring leadership has the insights and support needed to make informed decisions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Solid understanding of marketing strategy and performance metrics within a consumer-focused organization.
- Highly organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines, while effectively coordinating and ensuring timely delivery from team members and stakeholders.
- Data-driven with strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to produce comprehensive analysis documents.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear and high-quality business reports and documents.
- Proficient in collaboration and relationship-building across a large matrix organization.
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized and adept at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines with the ability to implement and adhere to controls and processes.
- Able to build relationships and trust with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in supporting marketing strategy and understanding marketing performance within a financial services environment.
- Familiarity with UK banking market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
- Experience with SQL for querying databases, and generating insights to support business decisions.
- Demonstrated success in contributing to marketing initiatives that align with strategic business goals.
