Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team and take the lead in building and nurturing both digital and real-world communities for our brand. This is a dynamic mid-level role, supporting the marketing function with a special focus on influencer relations, ambassador programmes, event management, and email marketing.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of community in driving brand loyalty and growth, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Reporting to: Head of Brand & Marketing

Main Responsibilities

Content and Email Marketing

  • Plan, build and deliver high-quality email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional emails.
  • Help build high-quality content for our digital community aimed to educate, inspire and inform on health topics, nutrition, fitness, food and recipe content, and intended to drive engagement and conversions across email and social platforms and building strong digital communities. 
  • Manage the email marketing calendar to align with brand priorities and broader marketing objectives.
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for email campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Brand & the CRM team.
  • Work closely with the CRM team to ensure seamless integration between channels & systems and to leverage customer insights effectively.

Analytics

  • Collaborate with the CRM team to monitor and analyse single-send email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • A/B test subject lines, content, and designs to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Maintain and grow a healthy subscriber base while ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Stay on top of health, fitness, and premium lifestyle trends to inform strategies and keep the brands at the forefront of innovation.

Collaboration and Innovation

  • Collaborate with design and content teams to produce visually appealing, high-impact email creative.
  • Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends and best practices to continuously elevate the email programme.

Community Building & Engagement

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow engaged communities both online and offline, aligning with brand values and goals.
  • Help onboard and build effective and authentic relationships with ambassadors, influencers, and media contacts to advocate for the brands, expand reach and drive brand awareness.
  • Support with planning and executing influencer and press campaigns & ambassador activations.

Events and Activations

  • Support the events calendar by helping to organise and execute events, pop-ups, and brand experiences to deepen community relationships and enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver in-person and digital activations, ensuring seamless execution.

Ideal Candidate

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing or brand marketing role.
  • Proven experience building and growing online and offline communities.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms (CRM platforms, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and their role in community building.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate about nutrition, fitness and wellness, with knowledge of premium London-based consumers.
  • Experience organising events and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Bonus: Experience in DTC subscription or health and wellness brands.
