Marketing & Operations Coordinator - UK

At Horizontal Digital, we hold ourselves to one key belief: You’re only as good as your worst customer experience. This mantra is what drives our digital consultancy to think beyond the easy answers and instead create websites, apps, portals and other experiences that solve customer needs for Fortune 500 companies in intuitive and empathetic ways. And we make this lofty standard a reality by fusing strategy, data, design and technology together to arrive at solutions that set the bar higher for everyone.

We use these values to fuel superior results:

Lock arms

We forge relationships that make our impact 1,000x stronger. This means working across departments and engaging both our clients and our communities to deliver the greatest good.

Show hustle

We’re not ones to sit on our hands and wait. Instead, we anticipate opportunities, collectively roll up our sleeves and find ways to execute the exceptional.

Embrace change

From new technologies to workplace philosophies, we welcome the unexpected and constantly anticipate what’s next.

Elevate empathy

We listen before we take action. This means understanding a variety of perspectives and holding ourselves to a higher standard of accountability.

Never settle

We motivate each other to push past the easy answers and collectively arrive at bigger, more inspiring ideas.

But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.

As our Marketing & Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our business running smoothly, supporting the wider UK team across operations, marketing, internal communications and team engagement. No two days are the same — you could be coordinating a company event, supporting a marketing campaign, organising client meetings or helping onboard a new team member. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to build a career in marketing, business operations and people coordination within a fast-paced, remote-first digital agency.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Marketing & Operations Manager and wider UK team, acting as a central point of contact for internal queries.
  • Maintain Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and consistently monitored for quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture actions and manage team diaries, travel and logistics for meetings, client visits and company away days.
  • Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and events, including exhibitions, managing venues, suppliers, logistics and budgets from planning through to delivery.
  • Assist with content creation for social media, blogs, newsletters and other marketing communications, and monitor campaign performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Support the coordination of onboarding for new starters, including arranging IT equipment, welcome packs, induction schedules and onboarding meetings.
  • Help foster a positive remote-working culture by organising team engagement initiatives, and stay informed about emerging AI tools that can improve business operations and productivity.

Who you are:

  • Proactive, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership of multiple priorities.
  • A confident communicator who builds strong relationships across teams, clients and suppliers.
  • Commercially aware, with a keen eye for negotiating good value on venues, suppliers and travel.
  • Approachable, friendly and adaptable, comfortable working remotely with travel for team days and marketing events.
  • Curious about how AI and emerging technologies can support marketing and operations work.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.

What you bring:

  • Graduate or early-career background (typically 0–2 years), ideally with some exposure to marketing, operations, or admin/PA work.
  • Comfortable using CRM/project systems such as Salesforce, or quick to pick up new tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to juggle multiple bookings, enquiries and deadlines using your own initiative.
  • Experience or interest in supporting marketing campaigns, events or business administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail.

Our UK Benefits include:

  • 22 days holiday
  • 2 floating holiday days
  • 2 volunteering days
  • Defined contribution pension scheme
  • Flexibility + remote working
