This is a generalist marketing role with a strong focus on demand generation, events, and PR, tailored to local market needs. You will work closely with the regional sales and customer success teams, as well as global demand generation, product marketing, events and communications teams, to drive pipeline growth, strengthen client relationships, and build Morningstar's presence in France and Benelux.
This role is deeply rooted in local market understanding, including financial industry trends, competitive dynamics, and cultural nuance, particularly in France.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation
  • Localize global demand generation campaigns and execute for the France and Benelux markets, with a primary focus on French-language adaptation
  • Partner with global campaign managers to ensure local relevance and priorities

Events
  • Plan and execute a mix of third-party and Morningstar-hosted events to support both pipeline generation and client retention
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure events support regional commercial objectives and follow-up

PR and Market Presence
  • Support PR activities focused on the French market, including coordination with journalists and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to strengthening Morningstar's brand visibility and thought leadership in France through regular engagement with the media

Cross-functional Collaboration and Execution
  • Act as the regional marketing point of contact for France and Benelux, ensuring strong alignment across cross-functional teams
  • Translate global messaging, programs, and priorities into locally relevant execution while maintaining consistency with global strategy
  • Track and report on marketing performance using metrics tied to pipeline, engagement, and revenue impact
  • Perform other duties as required to support regional business priorities

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally in a regional or field marketing capacity
  • Experience in financial services, software, or data-driven businesses
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to have
  • Experience localizing global marketing campaigns for regional markets
  • Strong project management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with an understanding of pipeline and revenue impact
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with strong attention to detail
  • Curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week as we've found that we're at our best when we're purposely together on a regular basis. In most of our locations, our hybrid work model is four days in-office each week. A range of other benefits are also available to enhance flexibility as needs change. No matter where you are, you'll have tools and resources to engage meaningfully with your global colleagues.
