The Subscriptions Marketing team is the growth engine of Future's direct-to-consumer business. We are responsible for the health and expansion of a world-class portfolio of print and digital specialist titles.

As Marketing Manager, you will report into the Head of Subscription Marketing to bridge the gap between high-level commercial strategy and ground-level creative execution. We are looking for someone who is analytical and commercially motivated, but who also possesses a distinct creative flair. You should be as comfortable discussing LTV and attribution models as you are critiquing visual assets and brainstorming "stop-the-scroll" campaign concepts.

What you'll be doingStrategic Acquisition & Growth
  • Integrated Planning - Devise and deliver effective marketing plans that drive acquisition for both print and digital products. You will own the decision-making for your designated verticals, informed by marketing trends, customer behaviours, and previous performance.
  • Flagship Brand Ownership - While providing oversight across the portfolio, you will take a direct, proactive lead on driving some of our key specialist brands, setting the gold standard for what a successful, creative acquisition strategy looks like.
Creative Flair & Campaign Innovation
  • New Concepts - Bring fresh, "outside-the-box" ideas to our campaign creative. You will oversee the visual and messaging strategy, ensuring our ads and landing pages are not only high-converting but also aesthetically aligned with our premium brands.
  • Campaign Excellence - Accountable for best-practice and accurate execution and delivery of acquisition campaigns across a variety of online and offline channels.
  • 3rd Party Development - Develop new 3rd party opportunities and partnerships to acquire subscribers, maintaining working relationships with existing providers and vendors.
Leadership & Productivity
  • Team Management - Support priorities and co-ordinate workload effectively for yourself and your reports (including Senior Marketing Executives). You will mentor your team to deliver accurate, high-impact work.
  • AI Integration - Champion the use of AI tools to increase productivity, from drafting copy variations to automating routine reporting, allowing the team more time for high-level creative thinking.

Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as the key point of contact for brand stakeholders, ensuring marketing activity reflects commercial priorities and audience insights.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • At least 4 years of experience in marketing and campaign management, ideally within subscriptions or recurring revenue models.
  • Proven experience managing direct reports and coaching a team toward performance goals.
  • A history of delivering innovative and visually striking campaigns. You should be able to articulate why a creative concept works and how it connects to the target audience.
  • Numerate and commercially aware (familiarity with ROI, ARPU, and LTV is essential).
  • Experience using AI tools to increase productivity and optimise marketing outputs.
What's in it for you

The expected salary for this role is up to £42,000, depending on experience.

This is a Hybrid role from our London Office, working three days from the office, two from home
