The Subscriptions Marketing team is the growth engine of Future's direct-to-consumer business, responsible for building strong, lasting relationships between our audiences and our specialist brands.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead marketing across a portfolio of brands. You will shape how they show up in market through high-quality, insight-led campaigns. These campaigns will drive both brand equity and subscriber growth.

You'll combine creative judgement with commercial thinking — owning campaign direction, developing your team, and ensuring everything we deliver is distinctive, effective, and aligned to our premium positioning.

Brand & Campaign Leadership

  • Own brand representation across all marketing touchpoints, ensuring consistency, quality, and a clear voice.
  • Lead proposition development, messaging, and integrated campaign planning across multiple brands.
  • Set and elevate creative standards, guiding concepts, execution, and overall campaign quality.
  • Deliver multi-channel campaigns that balance brand-building with commercial performance.

Innovation & Growth

  • Bring fresh, original thinking to campaigns, formats, and channels.
  • Drive a structured test-and-learn approach across creative, messaging, and activity.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities, partnerships, and ways to reach and engage audiences.
  • Champion the use of AI to enhance creative development, speed up production, and unlock new ways of working.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and develop team members, setting high standards and improving output.
  • Act as a key partner to Brand, Editorial, Growth, and Product teams, ensuring alignment and impact.
  • Use audience insight and data to shape more effective, resonant marketing.
  • Lead on ad-hoc strategic projects and business-critical initiatives as required (e.g. DMCCA or regulatory changes).
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
  • Strong experience in brand-led marketing within subscriptions, media, publishing, or D2C.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality campaigns that drive both brand and growth.
  • Excellent creative judgement and the ability to elevate work across channels.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROI).
  • Experience using AI tools to improve marketing output, efficiency, or insight generation.
What's in it for you

The expected salary budget for this role is up to £50,000.
