Position Summary

Why Join Our Team?
Forge the future of Samsung MX through high-impact, culturally resonant partnerships. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of creative brand storytelling and rigorous commercial management within our UK division.
You will help shape how we bring the Galaxy ecosystem to life, partnering with cultural titans like Vogue and the Olympics, navigating the Gaming landscape to reach Gen Z, and managing business critical relationships with tech leaders like Google, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Intel. This role offers a front row seat to complex, high profile marketing programs where you will build strong foundations in end to end commercial delivery within one of the world’s leading technology brands.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnership Execution & Contra-Trading

  • Cultural & Technical Integration: Implement the MX partnership strategy by launching TTL activations that drive brand desirability and tell product stories in an authentic way.
  • Commercial Leadership: Act as the primary UK relationship lead for key tech partners (Google, Microsoft, etc.), enhancing partner funding and ensuring spend is aligned with quarterly plans and SEUK strategy.
  • Value Optimisation: Deliver win win campaigns through sophisticated contra-trading—negotiating value-in-kind media and execution, talent access, and content rights to amplify our investment.
  • Conversion Focus: Map the customer journey across partner platforms to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase intent for the Galaxy ecosystem.

2. End-to-End Campaign Management

  • Lifecycle Ownership: Own the full delivery of partnership campaigns from the initial creative spark/briefing through to final execution and ROI reporting.
  • Project Momentum: Manage detail, deadlines, and dependencies in a fast-moving environment, ensuring all partnership activity is integrated across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Budget & Risk: Support rigorous budget management and escalate delivery risks early to ensure campaigns remain on track and on budget.

3. Stakeholder & Agency Orchestration

  • Agency Leadership: Manage specialist agencies (content, creative, media), fostering a culture of high challenge and high support to deliver award winning work.
  • Matrix Collaboration: Align with UK PR, Social, and Omni-channel teams, as well as European/Global stakeholders, to ensure local partnerships scale effectively.
  • Data Driven Advocacy: Establish a robust cadence of measurement, using real time insights to pivot campaigns and tell a clear story of impact to senior leadership.

What We Need for This Role

To be successful, you will be a "Creative Commercialist”, someone who thinks like a visionary when building a campaign but acts like a commercial lead during negotiations.

  • Partnership Experience: Proven experience managing both lifestyle/cultural partnerships and complex B2B2C relationships.
  • Authenticity Advocate: A deep understanding of sub-cultures (Gaming, Camera, AI, Health) to ensure Samsung’s presence feels earned.
  • Media & Contra Savvy: Literacy in the modern media landscape and the ability to trade brand assets for partner reach.
  • Operational Excellence: You are delivery driven, detail oriented, and comfortable multitasking across multiple high-stakes projects with experience in project management.
  • Practical Problem Solver: A "solution first" mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority in a large organisation.
  • Tech Enthusiast: A genuine curiosity for how mobile technology and culture are evolving.

What Does Success Look Like?

Success means delivering high quality partnership campaigns that are seen as a reliable, effective marketing lever. You will be trusted to manage multiple projects at pace, bringing energy and problem solving to complex situations. Ultimately, your work will ensure partnerships are delivered on time, within budget, and with a measurable impact on Samsung’s market leadership.
