Job Description:

Purpose: 

The Head of Marketing UK serves as the primary marketing professional for Kinetico UK, supporting the growth and brand presence of the company across residential, commercial, and dealer networks throughout the United Kingdom. This role ensures alignment with corporate brand standards, regional business objectives, and market-specific requirements while driving demand generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness through integrated marketing campaigns, digital channels, events, and strategic partnerships. The role reports into the UK Managing Director while collaborating closely with the Global Marketing team to adapt scalable, globally aligned marketing strategies to the UK market and serves as the regional marketing leader for all UK commercial activities.

Key Areas of Responsibility: 

Marketing Strategy & Planning 

  • Develop and execute the UK marketing strategy in alignment with business objectives and global marketing direction.
  • Define annual marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives to support revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine positioning and messaging.

Brand Management & Communications 

  • Ensure consistent application of Kinetico’s brand identity across all UK marketing activities and collateral.
  • Manage external communications, including PR, media engagement, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Oversee content creation for websites, brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.

Demand Generation & Lead Management 

  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and events to generate qualified leads.
  • Partner with sales teams to optimise lead nurturing, conversion, and tracking through CRM systems.
  • Monitor and report on campaign ROI and pipeline contribution.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence 

  • Manage and grow Kinetico UK’s digital footprint, including website, SEO/PPC, social media, and email marketing.
  • Analyse performance data to improve online engagement, reach, and conversion rates.
  • Ensure digital content is optimised, relevant, and aligned with customer journeys.

Dealer & Partner Marketing Support 

  • Provide marketing resources, campaigns, and tools to support the independent dealer network.
  • Develop co-branded materials, joint promotions, and training to strengthen dealer engagement.
  • Act as a key liaison between Kinetico UK and partners to drive mutual growth.

Events & Trade Shows 

  • Plan and support the delivery of UK exhibitions, industry trade shows, and customer events.
  • Coordinate logistics, promotional campaigns, and post-event lead management.
  • Ensure professional representation of the Kinetico brand at all external events.

Collaboration & Global Alignment 

  • Work closely with the Global Marketing team to localise and adapt global campaigns for the UK market.
  • Share best practices and contribute UK market insights to inform global strategy.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and service teams.

Budget & Performance Management 

  • Manage the UK marketing budget effectively to maximise ROI.
  • Track, analyse, and report on key marketing metrics and campaign effectiveness.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience: 

Education 

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or similar professional accreditation (desirable).

Professional Experience 

  • Proven track record (5+ years) in marketing management roles within the UK market, ideally in B2C, B2B, or dealer/distributor-driven environments.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies, including digital, brand, events, and channel marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, campaign management, and ROI measurement.
  • Experience managing and supporting partner or dealer networks with co-branded campaigns and sales enablement materials.
  • Previous involvement in aligning local strategies with global corporate marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets, forecasting, and reporting performance metrics to senior stakeholders.

Technical Skills 

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, including SEO/PPC, social media, and email automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or equivalent) and marketing analytics/reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) and content management systems (CMS).

Additional Assets 

  • Experience in water treatment, home improvement, manufacturing, or related technical industries (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong network within UK media, trade press, or industry associations (beneficial).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Organizational Context: 

The Head of Marketing UK plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the UK business remains competitive, visible, and aligned with both local market needs and corporate brand standards. Working closely with the UK Managing Director and Sales teams, the role directly supports revenue growth, customer acquisition, and dealer engagement. At the same time, the position requires close collaboration with the Global Marketing team to adapt and localise global strategies, ensuring consistency while tailoring activity to the UK market landscape.
