Job Description
The Marketing Manager role will support the Marketing Director based in London to develop and implement the overarching global brand media strategy to meet Hayu business goals, manage planning operations and project manage multi-media ATL campaigns, across all our markets.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager will work alongside the Senior Digital Manager and the media agency, to align all media strategies, fostering a holistic approach that ensures all channels contribute to the broader business objectives. This collaboration is crucial in efficiently and effectively aligning ATL plans with always-on digital campaigns, and ensuring that these efforts support and enhance subscriber acquisition goals.
The successful candidate will be as passionate about reality TV as they are about media and marketing, combined with an eagerness to work in a digital, data driven business. They will need to be capable of building out strategy, developing and creating campaigns all while maintaining smooth operational processes within the department.
A balanced creative and analytical mindset is required, to execute best in class, audience-first media campaigns, alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as brand champion for Hayu, working with the marketing team to continuously evaluate, refine and ensure alignment of the brand proposition and tone of voice across all media touch points, across all markets.
- Support the creation and development of annual media strategy and key tent pole marketing strategies that meet business objectives and KPIs.
- Analyse market trends and audience insights to help identify optimal media approach and channels alongside Marketing Director and in-house digital teams.
- Project manage global campaign media process from briefing through to post campaign analysis. Including global governance of ATL media plans, overseeing media budgets, identifying potential cost efficiencies and monitoring performance.
- Coordinating creative workflows from briefing through to creative delivery.
- Manage delivery of global post campaign analysis reports with multiple stakeholders to understand impact and inform future campaigns and media strategies.
- Maintain and foster the global relationship with the media agency.
- Build collaborative relationships both internally (Marketing, PR, Creative, Finance, Legal, Research, Content, Commercial and Product) and externally (Commercial Partners, Brand Partners and Agencies).
- Ensure compliance across all marketing campaigns, considering local nuances.
- Maintain and grow media owner relations. Stay abreast of industry news, innovation in media and share knowledge internally.
- Create and execute presentations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills, details orientated, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on priorities and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of media landscape, including digital, paid advertising options, and analytics tools.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful media campaigns across multiple channels.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven decision making with the ability to analyze media performance and draw actionable insights.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative media concepts.
- Experience in a media role, either on the media agency side or client-side within related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
