Division Specific Information

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) team, to support the growth and market development of our lab equipment service business in EMEA. This flexible and highly adaptable, organized individual will partner with the Global Market Development Manager to regionalize global marketing tactics and support regional sales, service and cross-divisional marketing teams as well as our channel partners.

How will you make an impact?

As the Marketing Expert, you will have the chance to lead marketing efforts that contribute to the growth of our lab equipment services business and enhance our market presence in EMEA. This role requires agility and adaptability, as you will be responsible for identifying new market potential and developing and managing marketing tactics across various projects to meet our regional business goals.

What will you do?

  • Own the development and launch of regional marketing tactics, including email campaigns, brochures, flyers, videos, white papers, paid digital ad campaigns, and customer case studies to effectively communicate service features and benefits.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with product management and global market development to launch new service introductions (NSIs) in EMEA.
  • Support Thermo Fisher Scientific product and service sales teams and channel partners by providing sales presentations, training, and competitive battle cards to improve service sales at the point of sale and post-warranty.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales managers to plan and launch quarterly promotions, including those with channel partners.
  • Manage regional website content and lead forms on thermofisher.com and channel partner websites.
  • Serve as main marketing contact for sales and service teams, sharing updates and new resources.
  • Stay informed about market trends to drive continuous innovation and improvement in product marketing strategies.
  • Assist with divisional operating mechanisms, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly staff meetings and business reviews.
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks assigned.
Keys to Success

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, life science or related field.
  • Over 3 years of B2B marketing planning and execution, preferably within the life sciences or medical devices industries.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Highly detail oriented and reliable with strong organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Makes insightful decisions based on data and/or analytics.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence within a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestic and internationally.
  • Systems: PowerPoint and Excel skills required, Workfront, Monday.com and PowerBI preferred.
