We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Events & Sponsorship Specialist to support the execution of Fortra’s event and sponsorship initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow. The Specialist will assist with logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event processes, helping ensure smooth execution and impactful experiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and execution of company-hosted and third-party events, including tradeshows and customer forums.
  • Logistics Coordination: Support event logistics such as shipping booth materials, giveaways, and registration tracking.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Help manage communications with vendors and partners, including ordering, scheduling and documentation.
  • Promotional Support: Coordinate with the marketing team to prepare promotional materials and ensure brand consistency.
  • Onsite & Virtual Support: Provide onsite or virtual event support, including setup, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting.
  • Post-Event Processes: Assist with lead tracking, data entry, and reporting in collaboration with the marketing operations team.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain event calendars, update project plans, place orders for customer retention efforts, and support budget tracking.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager and Lead to ensure alignment and timely execution of tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, or administrative support.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Dynamics, Wrike) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and support events outside standard hours.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
