About the team

The Portfolio Strategy team sits in the central team and its key purpose is to foster portfolio growth by combining Category, Market and Consumer insights, to Drive performance analysis, and strategic planning. Catalyst of investment and activation guidance supporting decision-making across the business.

About the role

The Marketing Effectiveness Manager is a newly created role designed to strengthen our ability to understand what works, why it works, and how to continuously improve marketing investment performance year on year. This position is highly impactful and requires a strongly data-driven profile, with solid understanding of insights, analytics, and campaign performance evaluation.

The role will partner closely with Marketing, Insights, Regions and external agencies to translate campaign data into clear, actionable recommendations that improve effectiveness, efficiency and return on investment

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Marketing Effectiveness & Performance

  • Measure and evaluate marketing effectiveness across brands and NPDs, channels and touchpoints (ATL, BTL, digital, media, activations) to identify drivers of success and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights, stories and recommendations that improve future investment decisions.

Data, Insights & Analytics

  • Leverage internal tools, dashboards and models to support data-driven decision-making, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and robustness of inputs

Business & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a key partner to touch point owners and regions, supporting brand and campaign planning by providing evidence-based guidance
  • Manage and coordinate external agencies and vendors involved in effectiveness measurement and analytics projects.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of frameworks, tools, processes and best practices related to marketing effectiveness.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong ability to read, interpret and work with numbers and performance data.
  • Solid understanding of marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience turning analysis into clear, decision-oriented insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
  • Good data visualisation and storytelling skills.

Experience & Background

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in marketing effectiveness, analytics, insights, business intelligence or related fields.
  • Exposure to campaign measurement, media performance or investment optimisation.
  • Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams is a strong advantage.
  • Agency, insights, analytics or consulting background is a plus.
