Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Product Marketing team as Content Writer.

The Product Marketing team at CoreView creates strategic messaging, positioning, and enablement content across multiple mediums to make it easy for customers to see the full value of our incredible product offering and to establish CoreView as the undisputed leader in its category. 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with at least 2-3 years experience delivering content writing in a B2B tech context. 

Responsibilities 

  • Content Writing – working with the Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for the writing of key content including whitepapers, datasheets, and blogs.
  • Reviewing briefs - read and review briefs for content that needs to be written. Be comfortable speaking with key stakeholders to understand the requirements. 
  • Proof Reading – reviewing content that has been written by other stakeholders, providing edits, and fixing grammar and other content writing errors. 
  • Content Refresh – reviewing legacy content that can be refreshed for re-release.
  • Studying Messaging Guides – being competent with the basic messaging and communication strategy around our products and services to inform your content writing 
  • Web Copy Ownership – responsible for writing web copy and taking ownership of content on the website. Identifying copy that needs to be updated and refreshed.
  • Strategic Planning – identifying gaps in our content strategy and proposing new opportunities for content creation

  • Exceptional Content Writing Skills – you have a strong grasp of the English language and can be relied upon to write and proofread customer and prospect facing content. 
  • Strong Communication & Storytelling Skills - you’re able to turn technical detail into compelling stories. Experience in translating technical product information into stories of how technology helps people and impacts business. 
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - you have a strong positive mindset and the ability to share your ideas thoughtfully while always remaining open to feedback across the business. 
  • Sales/Channel Knowledge - you ideally have some experience selling, speaking on the phone, leading meetings, and closing deals in a B2B tech context 
  • Cross-Functional Work Experience - you’re able to navigate the uniquely cross-functional world of product marketing. You understand the world of sales, marketing, and product and can work with all three areas 
  • Customer-Centric Mindset - you create messaging that is strategic, technical on point, but also extremely easy for the customer to understand. You always ask, “what are the problems our customers have and what do we have that can help then?” 
  • Research Skills - You’re comfortable reading product documentation, speaking with SEs & Product teams, and doing the extra work to become an internal and external expert on our product offering and the market at large. 
  • Growth Mindset - You’re always looking to grow and improve your skillset. You’re able to balance confidence with humility and are open to feedback as our team grows together. 
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in content writing within B2B tech 
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience delivering content writing in a B2B tech context 


Preferred Experience: 

  • Ambition to expand into a more strategic product marketing role 
  • Sales Experience
  • Sales Enablement Experience 
  • Technical understanding of terminology around M365, ENTRA ID, Active Directory, and other Microsoft technologies 
  • Experience of SaaS, Cloud, DevOps, Agile, and Cyber Security 
  • Experience creating video content
