This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward the marketing and communications capability and strategy of a growing brand within the health sector as a Marketing & Communications Manager on a fixed-term basis.  

 About the role

You will be responsible for supporting business growth through high impact communications and applying your digital expertise to improve our brand awareness in the markets we operate in—which includes health systems, life sciences and health investing across consulting and data. This will mean defining the audiences we seek to reach, crystalising the key messages we convey, and developing a steady flow of high impact communications with consistent tone from a wide range of contributors within the company. Delivering the company brand video will be a key component of this work.  

Over the next months, you’ll be responsible for driving forward our Middle East marketing strategy which supports the growth of CF across the GCC. You will collaborate closely with our Partner for the Middle East practice and a team of employees who support our Middle East establishment and business development efforts.  

You will also be responsible for coordinating and proactively planning the marketing content and conference calendars, working to support business priority areas and responding nimbly to emerging events. You will play a big role in coordinating and collaborating the planning and supporting development of content, website, social media, awards and other channels. 

You will manage our internal marketing communications, engaging with senior stakeholders to provide weekly updates, as well as reporting to the wider company on a monthly basis.  

You will be the driving force behind our SEO efforts, overseeing and executing strategies to optimise our online presence and drive organic traffic, ensuring our website ranks highly on search engines and reaches our target audience effectively. 

Creating and launching a CF newsletter will be high on your agenda for the coming year and will be a project that allows you to captivate our clients and potential clients, ensuring increased awareness of CF’s service offerings.  


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Implement a strategic internal and external communications plan (including digital communications), aligning all messaging with CF's mission, values and business strategy  
  • Develop, review and edit content both independently and with specialist knowledge support for internal and external communications across multiple channels (including but not limited to website, social media and newsletters) 
  • Working collaboratively across teams including the wider corporate team and internal working groups to ensure alignment between internal, external and social media messaging 
  • Project management and ownership of internal and external communications activity planning and digital management (including but not limited to content planning, website upkeep and increasing social media presence) 
  • Brand ambassador to help develop and disseminate our brand identity, ensuring alignment between internal and external communication 
  • Management of the marketing budget  
  • Management of website agency and other ad hoc external support as required  
  • Use metrics and insights to refine communications approaches across multiple channels 
  • Reporting to the Managing Partner in charge of Marketing 
  • Work with teams to refresh website content across key business areas in line with revised strategy 
  • Execute improved lead tracking strategy alongside Business Development teams 
Requirements

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously, is able to bring creativity and innovation to our engagement whilst aligning to our core aims and is able to proactively drive our marketing function forward, supported by The Communications Executive. 

Mandatory skills 

  • Experience of working in marketing communications capacity within professional services 
  • Strong project management and planning skills – able to juggle multiple campaigns and projects at once 
  • Strong social media skills to engage with target audience and design new strategies to grow brand awareness 
  • Ability to design creative and innovative marketing campaigns which can be used via multiple communication channels  
  • Ability to create and implement marketing plans, with a proven track record of success 
  • Have exceptional communication skills, especially written English 
  • An understanding of or interest in the health and care, life sciences and health tech industry  
  • Proficiency in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategies and techniques to enhance our online presence, drive organic traffic, and boost search rankings 
  • Proficiency in website management and maintenance, including content creation, design updates, and user experience optimisation to ensure a seamless and engaging online presence  
  • Proficiency in PR with experience in drafting press releases and engaging with journalists to maximise the impact of content  


Desirable skills 

  • Experience of copy-editing healthcare focused publications is desirable 
  • Experience of CRM systems and developing email campaigns

Flexible working   

We embrace a hybrid working model, combining the best of remote and in-person collaboration. Our consulting team are together in person at least four days a week with flexibility to be in the office between our core hours of 10-4pm. Our default approach is to be in-person with our clients.   

In addition, up to four weeks a year each member of staff can work entirely virtually.    

 We would be happy to consider this role on a 4- day week basis.
