Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customised services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.

In this interesting role within the Global Communications team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues based in other jurisdictions to support the design and deployment the SCIB internal communications plan, whilst also assisting UK-specific internal communication affairs. You’ll work in conjunction with business stakeholders to design cohesive, integrated communication materials ensuring they are aligned with global strategy.

The difference you’ll make:
 

  • Assisting with the development and execution of the SCIB strategy communications plan

  • Drafting, designing and disseminating internal communications in a variety of formats including digital, audio-visual and events

  • Creating business related content including reports and transactional information

  • Supporting content management

  • Conducting digital analytics and measuring the impact of communications

  • Developing and maintaining an awareness of macro-economic and banking themes

What you’ll bring:

These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
 

  • Previous experience in an internal communications role within Financial Services

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, Marketing or related field

  • Well-developed stakeholder management and engagement skills

  • Knowledge and experience of content manager programs such as WordPress or Drupal

  • Experience of digital analytics and communications performance measurement

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools

  • Meticulous attention to detail

It would also be nice for you to have:

  • CIM or other marketing qualification

  • Fluency in Spanish or other European languages

What else you need to know:

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston.

To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).

  • Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.

  • We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.

  • 27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 28 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
