Your Role:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Assistant for a 6-month fixed term contract to support Apollo’s marketing and communications efforts.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of a thriving Lloyd's insurance syndicate while developing their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What you’ll do:
As a Marketing and Communications Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of our marketing and communication strategies. You will work closely with the business and Communications team to enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Work with external and internal stakeholders to create press release and announcements: drafting content and support though approval process including engaging with journalists.
- Content creation for Apollo intranet and Linkedin
- Support with managing the Communications Calendar and content collation.
- Support with coordination of internal and external events and conferences.
- Collaborate with external PR Partners
- Working with Operational Resilience teams to draft and business continuity news and updates.
- Support wider Communications team to achieve team objectives.
- Support wider communications team with tasks including report writing, running analytics, updating procedure manuals and checklists.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a marketing or communications role
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry would be beneficial but not essential
- Social media experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for various channels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
