Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds,  and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

The Marketing Services BDE is responsible for driving incremental new business by leveraging Equifax’s powerful marketing data solutions and our strategic partner propositions. Unlike a traditional, purely direct-hunting role, this position operates on an 80/20 split. The majority of your time (80%) will be spent acting as an overlay sales specialist. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with Equifax’s existing salesforce to "hunt from within" our established client base, helping Account Executives cross-sell and upsell our marketing and partner products.

The remaining 20% of your time will focus on direct selling for your own new business pursuits. You will play a pivotal role in establishing go-to-market strategies and creating materials for internal and external use. Early success in this role relies heavily on your ability to act as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) in marketing services, Equifax marketing data, and partner integrations for your colleagues across the business.

What You Will Do

  • Drive Co-Selling Success: Work within a collaborative co-selling model where both you and the primary Equifax Account Executives are incentivized to win together.

  • Master the Ecosystem: Learn and master both Equifax’s proprietary marketing data propositions and our partners' solutions to effectively position and sell them to the broader market.

  • Act as an Overlay Specialist (80%): Partner with existing sales teams to identify, advance, and close marketing data opportunities within current Equifax accounts.

  • Direct Business Development (20%): Generate new business through your own direct sales pursuits, targeting net-new logos for our marketing solutions.

  • Be the Internal SME: Demonstrate deep, actionable knowledge of marketing services and how businesses utilize data for marketing. Use this expertise to build trust with colleagues, educate the salesforce, and drive early pipeline success.

  • Manage Partnerships: Take ownership of managing, nurturing, and growing a select number of existing Equifax partner relationships.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal Product, Operations, Sales, and Service teams to evaluate, operationalize, and execute on partner propositions.

  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor markets, industries, competitors, and sales activities to identify potential opportunities for Equifax's marketing suite.

What Experience Do You Need?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated background and strong working knowledge of marketing services, marketing data, and the broader marketing technology landscape.

  • Strong background in business development, sales, and/or strategic partnerships.

  • Proven experience navigating complex B2B sales cycles and/or acting as an overlay/product specialist for an existing salesforce.

  • Cross-functional team leadership experience with the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation skills, specifically the ability to articulate complex marketing data concepts and partner integrations to internal colleagues and external clients.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Well-developed leadership capabilities and a self-starter mentality.

What Could Set You Apart

  • Deep, hands-on experience executing data-driven customer acquisition and retention campaigns.

  • Previous experience working specifically within a credit bureau, data analytics firm, or marketing agency environment.

  • Familiarity with Equifax's specific data assets, identity resolution tools, or financial-marketing data products.
