AlixPartners has embraced a hybrid work model to provide flexibility and support our employees’ work-life integration.  Our hybrid model combines a mix of in-person (at client site or AlixPartners office) and remote working.  Travel is part of this position, but the frequency may vary based on client, team, and individual circumstances.

What you’ll do

Working closely with the UK Senior Marketing Professional, the UK Marketing Professional will play a central role in supporting, developing, and executing the marketing activities and plans for the UK business. With high visibility and daily interaction with the client service teams, this role will need to focus on delivering an overall first-class service.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing strategy & planning

  • Work with the UK Senior Marketing Professional to support the creation of clear, actionable, and targeted marketing activity plans that flow from the business plans to help achieve marketing objectives with target referrers and clients.
  • Work with the wider BD & Marketing team to ensure that activities and plans include geographic and cross-service line input where necessary to ensure a ‘one firm’ approach to clients and to marketing activities.
  • Collaborate in the development of comprehensive briefing plans, ensuring adherence to Campaign Planning procedures and established timelines.

Marketing execution 

  • Work with the EMEA-based content team, UK Senior Marketing Professional, PMDs, Partners and Directors to deliver relevant content-based campaigns – including webinars, email marketing campaigns, social/LinkedIn posts etc.
  • Work closely with the UK PR team to provide content and updates on UK activities.
  • Under the guidance of the UK Senior Marketing Professional, help to organise AlixPartners presence at external conferences, including working with the design team to ensure that sponsorship materials are created for relevant events.
  • Create and keep up to date a register of all UK corporate hospitality requests. Work with EMEA BD & Marketing colleagues to ensure that any hospitality events are aligned to BD strategies and goals and are tracked in Radius, the firm’s CRM system.

Event support

  • Organise and deliver UK AlixPartners hosted events, including regular dinners, for current and new referrers and clients. Ensure that events are executed to the highest standards, creating full pre-and post-event follow-up activities.
  • Work with the design and CRM team to create event invitations, manage attendee lists, and ensure follow-up to all invitations to ensure that the ‘right’ people are invited to each event.
  • Support the London-based Events team on local events as required.

Other responsibilities

  • Work with the UK Senior Marketing Professional to track and report on annual marketing budgets for the UK business.
  • Manage the calendar and agendas for regular meeting with the UK country leads as required. Ensure that documentation and reports are prepared in advance of meetings as required.
  • Work with colleagues in the EMEA Industry and Service line Marketing roles, and in the global marketing and business intelligence team to ensure that all data is accurately inputted, tracked and monitored in Radius, the firm’s CRM system.
  • Be an active member of the EMEA BD & Marketing team helping to promote cross-service line, cross-country collaboration.

What you’ll need

  • Relevant B2B marketing experience – preferably in a professional services environment
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment – desirable
  • Ability to speak with confidence and influence change both internally with senior leaders and externally with third party partners
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Suite – essential
  • Digital native – a solid understanding of digital platforms including (or similar to): Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Canva, Passle, Podbean, Riverside.fm, InterAction, Mondaq, Shorthand – desirable
  • Proven experience of multi-channel campaign management – comfortable with range of activities, from one-off email to large scale events

  • Well organised – ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and take on new activities as business needs and priorities change
  • Attention to detail – ensure own and others’ work is to the highest standard
  • Flexible – ability to take ownership of projects, deliver on time and to budget
  • Enthusiasm and energy – a willingness to learn and possesses a ‘can do’ approach, with solid people skills and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages will be an asset.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment.
