Part-time marketing role supporting industry, competitor, prospect, and market research; AI-generated content review; source verification; SEO and AI-search research; campaign and sales materials; and development of repeatable AI-assisted marketing processes. The role requires strong writing, analytical thinking, fact-checking, attention to detail, independent work, and curiosity about technology, AI, business, and marketing. It is a 12-week, remote UK-based paid program requiring 15–20 hours weekly.

Net Solutions is looking for an unusually sharp university student or recent graduate in the UK to work with our marketing team on research, content, AI-assisted workflows, and marketing operations.

This is not a conventional marketing internship.

We are looking for someone who can take an unfamiliar business question, research it properly, use AI intelligently, challenge what the AI produces, and turn the work into something useful.

You do not need years of marketing experience. You do need to be a strong thinker, researcher, and communicator.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • Researching industries, companies, competitors, and market trends
  • Reviewing AI-generated articles and marketing copy for logic, accuracy, and weak arguments
  • Finding and verifying credible primary sources for claims and statistics
  • Researching prospects and target accounts for campaigns and events
  • Comparing competitor positioning, services, and go-to-market approaches
  • Supporting SEO and AI-search research
  • Helping turn research into useful content, campaign, and sales material
  • Testing ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools against real marketing tasks
  • Developing repeatable AI-assisted processes that make our marketing team faster
  • Bringing a UK-market perspective to messaging, research, and campaigns

You will work on live Net Solutions initiatives rather than simulated internship projects.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We care more about how you think than what degree you are studying.

You should have:

  • Excellent written English
  • Strong research and analytical ability
  • An instinct for questioning information rather than simply accepting it
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to understand unfamiliar subjects quickly
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
  • The ability to distinguish credible evidence from something that merely looks credible
  • Good judgment about what makes writing clear, useful, and believable
  • Curiosity about technology, AI, business, and marketing
  • The ability to work independently once the objective is clear

A marketing or technical degree is not required.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT AI

We expect you to use AI extensively.

We also expect you to recognize when it is wrong, generic, poorly reasoned, or unsupported.

If your approach is simply to ask ChatGPT to produce an answer and submit it, this role will not be a good fit.

The ability to challenge AI output matters more to us than knowing clever prompts.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

This is a 12-week, part-time paid position, requiring approximately 15–20 hours per week.

The role is UK-based and remote, and will involve working with members of the Net Solutions team in the UK and India. Some availability during UK mornings will therefore be important.

Hours can be arranged around university commitments.

COMPENSATION

£16–£20 per hour, depending on demonstrated ability and experience.

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Application

Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile and, if possible, something that demonstrates how you think, research, or write.

2. Paid practical assignment

Shortlisted candidates will receive a short exercise involving research, AI-generated content, fact checking, and judgment.

You may use any AI tools you want.

We are interested in both what you produce and how you got there.

3. Conversation

A short discussion about your assignment, how you approached it, what you disagreed with, and what you would do differently.

Exceptional performers may be considered for future opportunities with Net Solutions.
