What is VEED.IO?

At VEED, our mission is to make video creation accessible to anyone. No hard-to-use equipment, painful learning curve, or keeping track of multiple subscriptions to take your ideas from record → share. With VEED, you can do this with a single tool.

In just a few years, we’ve gone from one user to millions. From no revenue to $40M+ ARR. From bootstrapped to backed by Sequoia, one of the biggest VC firms in the world. From a team of two to a team of 180+. And we’re seeking more talented, motivated and entrepreneurial individuals to join our growing team.

About the team

The Data organisation at VEED are stewards for organisational knowledge. We are accountable for ensuring data provides value to internal staff and customers through data driven products, analytics, and processes and platforms.
Our vision for data is to inspire and create a data driven culture at VEED. We recognise that data, analytics, or reports are never the purpose. They are tools that aid the deepening of understanding.

About the role

Here at VEED, we’re constantly tackling complex problems to optimise our marketing efforts and drive growth. As a Marketing Analyst at VEED, you’ll work closely with the Marketing and Growth team to:

  • Track performance
  • Leverage data to drive decision-making
  • Improve lead generation, customer acquisition and retention
  • Help shape our marketing strategy

If you love working with data, uncovering trends, and helping shape marketing strategies, this role is for you and you will have great scope to take your career at VEED in whichever way you are most excited!

What you will do

  • Analyse marketing data from various channels (paid ads, SEO, email, social media, website analytics) to assess performance and ROI
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing KPIs
  • Proactively deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve lead generation, customer engagement, and conversion rates
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and improve funnel performance
  • Collaborate with the development team to set up new marketing analytics tracking using Google Tag Manager and improve existing tracking
  • Segment audiences and analyse customer behavior to support targeted marketing efforts
  • Support attribution modeling to understand which marketing channels drive the highest impact
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting for marketing campaigns
  • Stay updated on industry trends, analytics tools, and best practices in SaaS marketing
  • Get involved in building and refining models for user-segmentation, marketing attribution, customer lifetime value etc.
  • Work closely with the data team to maintain a single source of truth and improve data quality by identifying data issues and collaborate closely with data engineering to ensure we collect the right data to produce relevant business insights
  • Promote a data-driven culture and fluency across the company here at VEED!

About you

  • Previous experience in a marketing analytics or data-driven marketing role, creating impactful solutions.
  • You probably have 2+ years of experience, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment, but this isn’t set in stone!
  • Strong background / education in a quantitative discipline
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok, etc.)
  • We use Google Analytics 4, BigQuery, Fivetran, Amplitude, Metabase and DBT amongst other things for our data stack, so experience here would be beneficial, however, experience in similar tools (if not these ones) is a must-have
  • Being a SQL guru is a must-have. We’d be really excited if you knew Python too
  • Familiarity with SEO, PPC, email marketing, and other digital marketing strategies
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Understanding the principles and limitations of marketing data collection, including laws and regulations related to data protection and privacy
  • Experience with attribution modeling and multi-touch analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset
  • A track record of success - either demonstrated through promotions at work or through other activities!
  • Highly detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving - and a bias for taking action
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present insights to stakeholders

We think what matters is people. After all, a company is just a group of people. We don’t care about where you’re from, what school you went to or where you worked before. If you’ve done exceptional work, we want to hear from you. Join us on our mission to make creative storytelling with video simple and accessible for everyone.

Country Hiring Guidelines: We are currently hiring in 3 core hubs: London, Amsterdam and Barcelona and 2 additional hubs for sales and support roles only (USA for sales and the Philippines for support).
